The four bills behind a point-of-sale system, and the two we do not send

The cost of a POS system cannot be given as one number, because the licence is one bill out of four. This page lists all four, and says plainly which of them Korat charges.

This page is about the total cost of running a till, not about what each plan includes. If you want the feature matrix for shop plans and plugins, that is the plans page. This page answers a different question: where does the money go?

The four bills

Software licence
No monthly fee here for the till, menu, products, stock, orders or reports. Web and Android are both included.
Per-sale fees
None here. The system never holds a customer's money — they pay the shop directly in cash, by PromptPay or by transfer — so there is nothing to take a percentage of.
Hardware
Between you and whoever sells you the machine, not us. It runs in a browser, so an existing computer, tablet or phone will do.
Setup and training
No onboarding fee. Sign up, choose the trade, and the business console assembles the tiles. Every module's guide is free to read in the documentation.

The two missing bills are the whole reason the phrase "no monthly fee" appears on this site. It is not a launch promotion; it is structural. A system that never touches the customer's money has no base to charge a transaction fee on in the first place.

The four bills a POS can charge, with a separate box for what actually costs money here

So what does cost money?

Shop plans and a handful of optional plugins — taking payments, monthly memberships, staff permissions, projects and automation. All of them require a shop plan first, each is independent of the others, and you install only what you use. The full entitlement matrix is on the same page.

The plans page does not publish figures, and we will not invent one here to make this page look complete. Ask the team for current pricing and terms through the contact page.

What is fixed today are the membership rules: renewing adds to your existing expiry rather than discarding the days you have left · a 3-day grace period after expiry · attaching a payment slip and waiting for review does not cut you off · up to 5 periods can be paid in advance · and expiry closes buttons, never data.

The invisible price: the cost of leaving

The most expensive part of a POS is usually not the subscription. It is the day you want to leave and cannot, because your own history has become unreadable. The rule here is written down: when entitlement lapses, the buttons that create new things stop working, and the menu, orders, reports and history stay readable, undeleted and unhidden.

The limitation to hold next to that: the database sits on the provider's free plan, so there are no automatic daily backups (the security page keeps that list). If your numbers matter, export reports periodically and keep your own copy.

Comparing prices fairly means comparing all four

When you price other vendors, do not compare the monthly fee alone. Add the hardware you are required to buy, the fee per bill and the setup charge, then multiply by twenty-four months. That number is the real one. The full checklist for running that comparison is on which POS software is best.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the POS per month?

The till itself has no monthly fee and takes no percentage of sales. Shop plans and optional plugins do cost money, but the plans page does not publish figures yet — ask the team directly.

Is there a fee per bill or per transaction?

No, because customer money never flows through the system. Customers pay the shop directly; the system records and reconciles.

Are there setup or training charges?

No. Sign up, choose the business type, and the console assembles the tiles for that trade. Every module has a free guide in the documentation.

If I stop paying for a plan, do I lose my data?

No. After the 3-day grace period you can no longer use the entitlement, but the existing menu, orders, reports and history remain readable. The same rule applies to shop plans and to personal entitlements.

Try it first, ask the price later

Open a shop in the console and use the real till straight away. No card, and no trial clock to run out.
