Contact Korat by email on three fronts, below. Two of the most common reasons to write have a faster route inside the app instead: deleting your account and reporting content are both things you can do yourself, and the sections further down say how.
- General and shops
- hello@koratland.com — questions about the app, opening a business, or anything this site did not answer.
- Privacy and your data
- hello@koratland.com — access, correction, deletion, portability, or withdrawing consent under the PDPA.
- Security
- hello@koratland.com — vulnerability reports. There is no bounty programme, but a real report gets a real answer.
Opening a shop on Korat
You do not need to talk to anyone first, and you do not need to install anything. Open the web app, create a business, pick its type, and the business console is live immediately — public page, table QRs and all. Write to us if you want a hand setting up a menu, room types or a staff roster, or if your business does not fit any of the four core types. What the console does before you decide anything is on the for business page.
Reporting content, or blocking a person
Reporting happens in the app rather than by email, because a report from inside the app carries the context that makes it actionable. Seven kinds of thing can be reported — a post, a comment, a story, a chat message, a business page, a group or an event — choosing from a fixed list of reasons. Anything involving a child goes to the address on the child safety standards page instead. A person is handled by blocking, from the same sheet: it hides their chats and posts from you and takes them out of your dating deck entirely.
Reporting a chat message always asks you to describe the problem, because nobody moderating Korat can read chat content at any level of access. What the review queue sees is your description, not the other person's message.
PDPA and data requests
If it is account deletion, do it yourself from Settings in the app — no need to write to us, and the request can be cancelled. For anything else — the rights the privacy notice lists — write to hello@koratland.com from the address on the account, or tell us the Korat ID it belongs to. We will confirm who you are before acting on a request, since an unverified deletion request is its own kind of attack.
What not to send us by email
Never send a password, a one-time code, or a photograph of an identity document. Korat does not collect identity documents and will never ask you for one — anybody who does is not us.
