Asset tags, maintenance plans and checklists

Asset QR labels, maintenance plans, and cleaning checklists — three pages that work together with the shop's asset registry (the asset registry itself can only be added to/edited from the Korat mobile app; this web page has no screen for adding new assets).

3 pages — what's different

PageWhat it isDifferent from
Asset QR labelsPrint QR labels to stick on shop items/equipmentDifferent from "Maintenance plans," which schedules repairs/checks for items already labeled
Maintenance plansA repair/inspection schedule for assets that already have a QR label printedNot the label-printing page — if there's no QR label on an item yet, print one first
Cleaning checklistCleaning and condition inspection rounds, based on templates the shop sets upA general shift-based inspection system, not tied to individual assets like maintenance plans

Asset QR labels

  1. 1Search for an asset by name/code, then check the items to print labels for (there are "Select all" / "Clear selection" buttons)
  2. 2Choose a label size — medium 63.5×38.1 mm (21 per A4 sheet) or large 99.1×67.7 mm (8 per sheet), and choose which position to start printing from on the first sheet (in case an old sheet has already had some labels cut off)
  3. 3Click "Print labels" — the system opens a new print window; set scale to 100% and turn off headers/footers in the browser's print dialog before actually printing

Neither label size has ever been print-tested for real — they're calculated purely from standard sticker sizes. The first sheet includes a 50 mm ruler strip to hold against the printed page and check the printer isn't shrinking/enlarging the image. Always print 1 test sheet before printing the whole batch.

Each QR code encodes a full link, not a raw code — scan it with any phone camera and it opens the asset's page immediately. There's no copy-link-to-share button on this page — labels are only meant to be printed and stuck on real items. This page doesn't generate a PDF file itself; use "Save as PDF" from the browser's print dialog instead.

Maintenance plans

Maintenance schedule

Can be filtered 3 ways: due within 7 days (default) · all · include paused plans. Each plan shows the interval (every how many days), next due date, and last repair date.

Due statusMeaning
{n} days overduePast due — should be done soon
Due today / in {n} days (≤7 days)Coming up soon
No schedule setThis plan has no interval yet — must be set up first

Click "Mark as repaired" once that round is done (requires assets.manage permission), or click "Record an off-schedule repair" for repair work outside the normal cycle. Click "Repair history" to see that item's full history (history entries can't be deleted).

If a plan has an "open issue report," it shows as a yellow chip with a number — the issue report has no web screen yet; it can only be viewed/closed through the Korat mobile app. Clicking "Mark as repaired" here records the repair and advances the schedule, but doesn't always close the issue report — if the report is still open, the system will say so plainly, not show a green checkmark.

Repair history across all equipment

A summary across every item: number of repairs/maintenance done, number of items with history, and the most recent entry, with a table split by source: "scheduled" vs. "off-schedule."

Cleaning checklist

Split into 4 tabs: This shift's items · Standard SOP templates (management permission only) · Past inspection history · Reports

  1. 1Open this shift's checklist round, click "Start this round" if it hasn't started yet
  2. 2Go item by item — choose a result: normal · issue found · not applicable. You can add a note (optional). Items tagged "photo required" must have a photo attached before they can be saved
  3. 3The save button is always clickable even without a photo attached — if that item genuinely requires a photo, the server rejects it with the real reason, rather than the button being pre-locked

An item already saved can't be edited afterward (its button disables immediately), and a round marked "missed" can't be deleted either — SOP templates themselves can't be deleted either, since old rounds still reference them; they can only be disabled (and re-enabled later).

The "Past inspection history" tab can be searched by date range, showing score (percentage completed/total), inspector, and status (including how many minutes late, if applicable). The "Reports" tab summarizes scores grouped 4 ways: by template / by branch / by person / by day.

What can break

SymptomCause / fix
No assets found to print labels forThere are no assets in the registry yet — add them from the Korat mobile app first, then labels can be printed here
Clicked print but nothing happensThe browser is blocking pop-ups — allow pop-ups for this site and try again
Can't save a maintenance plan, shows a strange codeThe system passes the real message from the server through, such as "no permission for this action" or "invalid value" — read that message directly
Marked as repaired but the issue report is still openYou must close the issue report in the mobile app — the web has no issue-report management screen yet
Checklist item won't save even though the button is clickableThat item requires a photo — attach one, then click save again
Can't delete a template/checklist roundDeletion is deliberately disabled to preserve history — disable it instead
