Logo, cover photo, and shop link
Storefront information customers see in the Korat app and web itself — logo, cover photo, shop name, tagline, contact number, address, and the public storefront link (koratland.com/b/your-slug) that opens without installing the app.
- 1Upload a logo (1:1 ratio) and cover photo (16:9 ratio), or paste an image link instead
- 2Set your own shop link name (slug) — you can change it anytime; the old link keeps working because the system redirects automatically
- 3Fill in shop name, tagline, phone number, notification email, and address (used on printed receipts and shown on the map)
- 4Click "Save changes" so it takes effect on the real storefront immediately
This page is data inside the Korat app and web, different from "My website" (next section), which is the shop's own website outside the Korat system.
Sales channels and opening hours
Choose which channels the shop sells through (dine-in, takeaway, delivery, advance table booking) and the open/close schedule for each day of the week — customers see these hours on the storefront, and the system uses them to decide whether ordering is currently possible.
The timezone used to decide this is the shop's timezone (set in the "Region, language, and currency" tab), not the timezone of the device you're using to change settings.
My website (shop chat button)
A "Chat with this shop" button script to place on the shop's own website (outside the Korat system) — when a visitor clicks the button, a chat window opens with the shop right away, with no app required.
- 1Copy the script code and paste it at the bottom of the shop's web page — it works on any kind of website (WordPress, Wix, Shopify, plain HTML)
- 2The system starts detecting which websites are using this button (by tracking domains where the button was actually clicked) and lists them in a table for you to confirm whether it's really your shop's own website
- 3If you see an unfamiliar domain that isn't your shop's, click "Not ours" to revoke that domain's access
The early stage is "observation-only mode" — clicking "Not ours" records the decision and revokes that domain's token, but it does not yet block the button from actually rendering on that site, because the button is designed to work even without the app (anyone can embed it with a shop's link name). Full automatic domain verification is still under development — this page tells you the truth as it stands, not a safer story than reality.
Add-on plugin store
Turn shop add-on modules on/off — the related tab in the left menu appears or disappears based on what's installed here. All plugins are Korat's own modules, not plugins from outside providers. There are 3 kinds:
- Tied to shop type (cannot be removed) — Restaurant/cafe · lodging · services/clinic · shop, based on the business type chosen when the shop was created
- On every shop (cannot be removed) — Wi-Fi code · asset registry
- Optional, genuinely install/remove — Staff permissions · payment channels · membership plans · renewal reminders · projects · production & stock · automation · sales/purchase documents · employee expense claims · parking · procurement · queue tickets
Click a plugin card to see details, then install or remove it as needed — removing a plugin does not delete its existing data, it only hides that tab from the menu.
Shop plan & quota
Your shop's own Korat usage package (a fee the shop pays to Korat) — different from "membership plans," which is a package the shop sells to its own customers.
- 1See the current plan and renewal status on the card at the top
- 2Choose a new plan or add-on and add it to the cart — the price shown always comes from the server, never a number calculated on the screen itself
- 3Open the cart to confirm and pay — changing plans takes effect according to the billing cycle stated at confirmation
To set up a package/plan the shop sells to customers, go to Membership plans instead.
Translations
Translate the names and descriptions of your menu, products, services, courses, and packages into other languages for international customers to understand.
- 1Choose the item to translate (menu/product/service etc.) then choose the target language
- 2Type the translation into the field — the system saves it immediately per field, no combined "save" button needed
- 3An empty field = delete that translation, not "leave unchanged" — if you don't want to change it, don't clear the text out of the field
The order customers actually see: the reader's own language → the shop's main language → the original text (if there's no translation at all for that language, the customer sees the shop's main language instead, never blank text).
Blocked customers
Accounts this shop no longer accepts contact or new orders from — this is a block on behalf of the shop (everyone on the team sees the same list), not one employee's personal block.
- 1Search for the account to block by name or phone number, and add a reason (for future reference)
- 2That account can no longer send messages or place orders with this shop
- 3Unblock anytime from the same list
The customer is not notified that they were blocked — they will only see that their message or order simply didn't go through.
What can break
| Symptom | Cause / fix |
|---|---|
| Save fails | The button becomes clickable again with the real reason from the server; everything you entered is still there |
| Shop link name (slug) checked but not available | Another shop is already using that name — try a different one; your shop's existing link keeps working normally until the change succeeds |
| A plugin can't be installed / removed | Some plugins are tied to the shop type or are on every shop by design and can't be removed — the message will state the reason directly |
| Shop plan/plugin cart price doesn't match what you clicked | The final price is calculated by the server when the cart opens, not the number remembered from when you clicked — always check the cart total before confirming |
| "Not ours" was clicked but the chat button still shows on that website | As explained in "My website," the system is still in observation-only mode — clicking it recorded the decision and revoked the token, but doesn't yet block real rendering |
